Overview

Mock Fill is committed to protecting your privacy. This Chrome extension operates entirely locally on your device and does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.

Information We Don't Collect

  • Personal information (names, emails, addresses)
  • Form data you enter or autofill
  • Browsing history or website visits
  • Usage analytics or tracking data
  • Device information or identifiers

How the Extension Works

Mock Fill generates test data locally in your browser using JavaScript algorithms. All data generation happens on your device without any external network requests. The extension only accesses web pages to detect form fields and inject autofill functionality.

Permissions

The extension requires the following Chrome permissions:

  • Active Tab: To detect and interact with form fields on the current page
  • Storage: To save your extension settings (on/off state, allowed websites) locally

These permissions are used solely for the extension's functionality and not for data collection.

Data Security

Since Mock Fill doesn't collect or transmit data, there are no servers or databases that could be compromised. All extension settings are stored locally in your browser's secure storage system.

Third-Party Services

Mock Fill does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or external APIs. The extension operates completely offline and independently.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
